I'm just a little bit obsessed with coral lips this season and this Bourjois Shine Edition Lipstick (RRP: £7.99) has just leapt straight to the top of my faves list! The colour I've tried out here is '1, 2, 3 Soleil' which in itself just sounds like a fruity cocktail. It's a lovely subtle coral shade with some serious shine, but with the shine does not come any gloss-like stickiness (one of my pet peeves!) hurrah! The texture is lovely and it glides on effortlessly feeling super silky on the lips, my only negative about this lippy is that it doesn't have the traditional lipstick shape so when it comes to the pointy sections of your lips lip the cupids bow and the corners it's a little tricky to get in there without turning it on it's edge. I apply my lippy with a lip brush at the start of the day but it is handy to be able to apply straight from the stick throughout the day. This lipstick is all about the colour and shine and I've yet to find a coral shade that I love more than this one!

Here we go with the second part of today's Dorothy Perkins Essentials post and this time I'm styling 'The Lace Top'. I thought I'd put a bit of a work wear spin on this look as I know a lot of you are always asking me to do work wear looks. The lace on this top is so pretty that I didn't want it to get lost by just wearing a black vest top underneath so I layered it over this DP coral short sleeve shirt so that the pop of colour comes through and shows the lace detail. I teamed this with a nude blazer and this season's must-haves; city shorts. Again this could totally work as a day to night piece and could be paired with a pair of skinny jeans, a nude vest top and accessories for a night out.
I've teamed up with my fave Dorothy Perkins again to bring you a look at this season's essentials. I was given two 'Essential' pieces and asked to style them in my own way. The first piece was this black pleated midi skirt which is definitely an essential. I actually struggled to pick a way to style this because I had so many options in my head, this would actually be perfect for a 5-ways-to-wear post so I think when I've got a free day I'll do that for you. I teamed it with a pale biker jacket, denim shirt and wedge boots but it's perfect for work and would be a great day to night piece! Having something like this in your wardrobe is great because it's such a wearable piece and like me you can style it up in so many ways and it's a great starter piece to build up your Spring/Summer wardrobe around.
The second installment of my 'DP Essentials' post will be at noon today so check back later to see how I styled my next piece!

Today I'm testing out the 'Posh Pout' tinted lip balm by BeautyUK. I only managed to get 5 of the 6 colours so once I manage to get my hands on the last one ('Big Pinkin'), I'll post that too. It's at this time of year, another changing of the seasons, that I start to suffer from dry lips. My skin is actually pretty boring, I don't have any issues with it other than my lips. This range from BeautyUK seemed like a good product to test as it's simply a tinted lip balm. First up we've got 'How Nude' which is a pretty sugary pastel pink colour and is probably the most opaque out of all the shades. Then we have 'Power To The Purple' which isn't really purple at all but is a lovely sheer shade of deep pink. 'Corally Incorrect' is a gorgeous coral/red colour and is my favourite out of the lot. Then we've got another candy shade in 'Would I Lilac To You?' and then ending with a deep plum shade 'Sugar Plum Fairy'. Once you finally manage to get the sealed wrapping off this product is actually pretty good for it's bargain price of £2.99 (each). BeautyUK have made this product into a lip crayon which I have to admit I'm favouring over any other form of lip product at the moment just for the simple ease of application. It's soft to glide on and the shape of the crayon is perfect for getting into the corners of your lips and the cupids bow. As I said the colours are sheer because they aren't lipsticks but tinted lip balms, but they work well in this way. When you don't want a heavy block colour and find gloss just too sticky, a Posh Pout is the perfect middle ground. The packaging says they're mint flavoued but I couldn't really smell or taste mint, that said, that doesn't really both me at all. The balm feels moisturising and stayed on for a good couple of hours until I needed to re-apply. This is just a drug-store version of a 'Chubby Stick' and I must say, I would use this over the Clinque! It's a thumbs up from me and I would definitely recommend trying them out for yourself. Superdrug currently have an offer on where if you buy one, the second is half price, so you could buy the lot for a mere £13.44 which is still cheaper than a single Chubby Stick...Hurrah for a bargain!
There's a big buzz around Co-ordinates this season and I must admit other than a suit I've never tried the whole matchy-matchy thing. I first saw this Dorothy Perkins check skirt and thought it would be great in summer with a simple white tee, I picked it up at a Blogger Swap Shop held by Voucher Codes just over a week ago and then when shopping in DP I saw the matching top and had to give co-ords a try. There's also some great sets on ASOS and a few pieces now coming in at Miss Selfridge and Topshop.

I recently received this Lola nail colour in a goodie bag from the M&S High Summer Press Day. The colour; 'Tangerine Dream' is the perfect shade for this season! These polishes retail at £8 each from M&S which is pretty standard for a good quality polish. If you check out my swatch below you can see the colour and shine that you get from this polish. It's a great colour for the Spring/Summer seasons and would look great on toes! It is a high shine polish but it doesn't quite have the super glossy finish to some of the gel polishes that are currently available, that said, you could always pop on a layer of Seche Vite to give extra shine. I used two coats of this polish to get the desired opaque colour I wanted. Don't be put off by the lid either, like a Chanel polish that bulky top part comes off and you can use the brush with a much easier standard top. The brush worked well on application but the best thing about this product is the consistency! At first I thought it was quite watery but as soon as it touches your nails it just sticks. This was one of the easiest manicures I've ever done and dried within only a couple of minutes (with no tackiness) and I would certainly be eager to try out some of their other colours. If you're looking for a quick glossy manicure then I would highly recommend this polish.

I've got a day of beauty ahead of me, so many new products to try out from Micellar Water to eyeliner so all these beauty posts will be going up over the next week. My other half has gone off to an Archery lesson this morning which I'm hoping is because he wants to play Robin Hood and not because I often get on his nerves, either way, I have the house to myself (bar the five mini Mexicans running around) for half a day for my beautifying!

As I mentioned yesterday, I was up at the crack of dawn to go to my video shoot with Guess Watches. I had a great day and met some lovely people and I can't wait to share the video with you all. It will go live on the 19th March so watch this space. Now I've caught up on some sleep and got a free day ahead of me I'm going to make a start on those beauty posts so stay tuned!

It's pretty darn incredible that this H&M jumpsuit only costs £14.99. It's also not surprising that it's now sold out online and in most stores. The jumpsuit is part of H&M's new 'Icon' collection and is by far the star of the show. I bagged mine literally the day they came out and it was purely by chance that I came across it. It's such a simple yet chic piece to own and needs very little in the way of accessories.

Right guys it's official, I have been bitten by the beauty bug! Fashion has always been my main interest when it comes to blogging but somehow over the last week slowly but surely I have become obsessed with beauty products. I was always pretty stubborn when it came to make-up and beauty, I didn't care about the product I just went for the most 'reasonably' priced one that did the job. Times have changed, but don't get me wrong I still love a bargain beauty buy and as we've all learnt products like the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and Lacura Q10 Renew Serum (both complete budget buys and used by myself) are often the best products and get rave reviews. So my aim now is to do one beauty post a day along with my usual outfit post, essentially doubling my work but after all this is my job so why not eh! I know there's a lot of you out there that enjoy the beauty side of things and I know that from your feedback you all wanted more beauty from me but I think unless you're really interested in it, it's difficult to blog about it. I've got sooooo many products to review which I've collected over the last few months from goodie bags and that I've been sent from PR's so there's plenty to come! It comes at perfect timing that tomorrow I'm off for an early call time at a studio in West London for a make-up shoot with Guess, it's pretty secretive at the moment but I'll be sharing glimpses of my shoot tomorrow on Instagram and Twitter but won't be giving too much away, you'll have to wait for the post and pictures to be released and they will also go on my official Guess Access Blogger page which should launch in the next couple of weeks.
